1 Welcome to Experts Circle!

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) apply to candidates (“you”) who use Experts Circle to find employment through our network of expert recruiters. By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms, which supplement our general Terms of Service.

2 Candidate Registration and Profile

2.1 Account Creation: You must register and create an account, providing accurate, current and complete information.

2.2 Profile Accuracy: You are responsible for keeping your profile and any information you provide up to date.

2.3 No Fees: In line with the Employment Agencies Act 1973, s.6 and the Conduct of Employment Agencies and Employment Businesses Regulations 2003, we will never charge you any fee for registration, referral or placement services.

3 Application Process

3.1 Recruiter Recommendations: Your applications are driven by recommendations from our expert recruiters based on skill-match with open roles.

3.2 Consent to Share Information: By using the platform you consent to your profile and personal data being shared with recruiters and prospective employers for job-matching purposes.

4 Data Privacy and Confidentiality

4.1 Data Processing: We process your personal data under the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018; details of your rights are set out in our Privacy Policy.

4.2 Confidential Information: You agree to keep confidential any non-public information about job postings, employers, remuneration or related materials that you access through Experts Circle.

5 Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA)

5.1 Confidential Information. “Confidential Information” means all vacancy details, employer identities, remuneration data, interview content and any other non-public information obtained via Experts Circle.

5.2 Obligations. You shall (a) keep Confidential Information strictly secret; (b) use it only to assess or pursue the relevant opportunity; (c) not disclose it to any third party without prior written consent of Experts Circle or the employer; and (d) continue to honour these obligations for three (3) years after your account ends.

5.3 Remedies. You acknowledge that unauthorised disclosure may cause irreparable harm and agree that Experts Circle and/or the employer may seek injunctive relief as well as any other remedy available at law.

6 Candidate Responsibilities

6.1 Professional Conduct: Maintain professionalism in all platform interactions.

6.2 Confidentiality Obligation: Do not disclose Confidential Information to any third party without authorisation.

7 Platform Usage and Technology Use

7.1 Responsible Use: Use the platform responsibly and do nothing that could harm the service or its users.

7.2 Security Practices: Keep your login credentials secure and notify us promptly of any unauthorised use.

7.3 Automated Tools: Parts of our matching process may involve automated decision-making or AI ranking; these processes are subject to the safeguards described in our Privacy Policy and your Article 22 UK GDPR rights.

8 Compliance with Platform Policies

8.1 Adherence to Policies: Comply with all posted policies to maintain a respectful, secure and lawful environment.

8.2 Equality: You must not discriminate in any way that breaches the Equality Act 2010 during any stage of the recruitment process.

9 Intellectual Property Rights

Content Ownership: You retain ownership of any content you provide but grant Experts Circle a licence to use it solely to facilitate job recommendations and applications.

10 No Guarantee of Employment

Experts Circle does not guarantee that use of the platform will result in employment; hiring decisions rest exclusively with employers.

11 Amendments and Modifications

Experts Circle may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

12 Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be resolved in accordance with the Dispute Resolution section of our general Terms of Service.
